Dr. Sirounian is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is Fellowship-trained, having performed over 250 joint replacement procedures annually for the past several years.
Raised in the Pacific Northwest, he received two undergraduate degrees, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Portland State University. He received his Medical Degree from the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. In 2006, he helped form Integrated Medical Services, one of the largest multi-specialty medical groups in Arizona, where his former practice still serves as the orthopaedic division.
In 2012, Dr. Sirounian relocated his family to the New York area to join Winthrop Orthopaedic Associates, where he will continue to specialize in hip and knee replacement and revision surgery. Dr. Sirounian is an Active Fellow with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, where he volunteers as a member of the Patient Safety Committee. He is also a Fellow with the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, where he serves as a member of the Health Policy Committee.
