Attention, Veterans! Winthrop-University Hospital is sponsoring Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano’s 2012 “Welcome Back Warriors” All-Veterans Jobs and Support Services Fair on Tuesday May, 22 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m at the Physical Education Complex of Nassau County Community College.
Representatives from companies who are seeking job applicants will be present at the fair, along with experts on the GI Bill and other services for returning veterans. Advisors from Winthrop and other organizations will also be available to offer guidance on improving resume writing and interviewing skills. Attendees will have an opportunity to network with recruiters from dozens of companies and gain valuable insight into career opportunities.
“We are proud to partner with Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano to support Nassau County’s service men and women who are returning home from military service,” said John Collins, President & CEO of Winthrop-University Hospital, noting the great responsibility the Hospital has to the men and women who have put their lives on the line to preserve our freedom.
