New Electronic Medical Record Set to Go Live This Summer

winthrop electronic medical record- EMRNYU Winthrop physicians learn about the advantages of the new Cerner Soarian system, an electronic medical record system that will soon go live at NYU Winthrop.

From the moment you set foot through our doors until the moment you are discharged, we at NYU Winthrop Hospital want you to have the safest and very best patient care experience.

NYU Winthrop has long been committed to advancing clinical practice with Information Technology, which is why we will soon transition to a new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, Cerner Soarian®. This comprehensive new system, which connects clinical and financial data under one platform, supports our commitment to delivering high-quality care at all times. Among the many benefits that the new system provides to our staff and patients are a more efficient and seamless check-in process, quick access to medical infor- mation, and improved care management across multiple settings.

In today’s ever changing healthcare environment, we know that our patients want fast service, quick responses to questions and concerns during the hospital stay, and informed caregivers every step of the way. This new electronic medical record system will help us raise the bar on what we already know sets NYU Winthrop apart from all the others – a commitment to every single patient that their health truly does mean everything.
