Yuletide Ball Raises $207,000 for Child Life Program

In the true spirit of the holiday season, friends and sup- porters of NYU Winthrop recently gathered for the annual Yuletide Ball, a festive evening that featured a traditional Holiday sit-down dinner and dancing to benefit the Hospital’s Child Life Program. Graciously hosted by Christopher and Amanda Wood in their beautiful Garden City home on December 5, 2015, the 2015 Yuletide Ball drew more than 175 guests, and was a remarkable success, raising $207,000.

“Amanda and I were honored to host this year’s Yuletide Ball. This treasured event brought friends and neighbors together to raise funds for Child Life and was a won- derful way to begin the holiday season,” said Mr. Wood.

Over the years, NYU Winthrop’s Yuletide Ball has raised more than $2.6 million in support of the Hospital’s Child Life Program, which is dedicated to helping children understand and cope with the hospital experience.
