Best Children's Hospitals Ranked in 3 Specialties | NYU Winthrop Earns High Accolades from U.S. News & World Report

NYU Winthrop Hospital has been named one of the best hospitals in the New York Metro Area for 2016-17 by U.S. News & World Report. In addition, NYU Winthrop has been recognized for 13 high performing types of care, which include eight high performing specialties and five procedure and conditions of common care. Furthermore, NYU Winthrop earned a prestigious national best ranking in Geriatrics.

The eight high performing specialties that NYU Winthrop was recognized for include Diabetes & Endocrinology; Gastroenterology & GI Surgery; Gynecology; Nephrology; Neurology & Neurosurgery; Orthopedics; Pulmonology; and Urology. The five procedure and conditions of common care include aortic valve, colon cancer, COPD, heart bypass and heart failure.

In June, The Children’s Medical Center at NYU Winthrop was named to U.S. News & World Report’s Best Children's Hospitals rankings for demonstrating excellence in the specialties of pediatric diabetes and endocrinology, pediatric urology and pediatric pulmonology.
