NYU Winthrop Honors Apollo Family for Continued Benevolence

The Apollo family's extraordinary philanthropy over the years has continually helped NYU Winthrop Hospital with vital funding where it is most needed. From sponsoring research to modernizing, expanding and building new facilities, NYU Winthrop is a better place thanks to the support of S. Michael Apollo, his wife, Anna, and their daughter, Anne-Marie. In recognition of their generous support and much appreciated benevolence, NYU Winthrop recently installed a new special donor recognition plaque in the lobby of 4 North to thank the Apollo family for their generous gifts to the Hospital.

NYU Winthrop Honors Apollo Family for Continued BenevolenceRecently, the Apollo family (L-R) S. Michael Apollo, daughter Anne-Marie, and Anna Apollo, visited NYU Winthrop to celebrate years of philanthropy with a new donor recognition plaque, located on the 4th floor of the Hospital.

"We are extremely grateful for the support of the Apollo family," said John F. Collins, President and CEO of NYU Winthrop. "Mr. Apollo and his family are always coming up with thoughtful suggestions and ways to improve our institution and its ability to serve the community in the best ways possible. Their generosity has made a meaningful impact at NYU Winthrop, and will have a lasting effect on generations of patients and their families for years to come."
