Love is in the Air

First Annual Love is in the Air EventNYU Winthrop's first annual Love is in the Air event soared on February 16, 2017 when over 130 guests gathered at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City to show their support for NYU Winthrop Hospital's comprehensive Cancer Center.

The event was marked by concept cuisine and an enjoyable performance by Paul Draper, mentalist and modern magician, along with great music, prizes and games of chance. The evening raised $115,000 for the Hospital's Center for Cancer Care. Special thanks to the evening's Presenting Sponsor, Steel Equities, for their generous leadership and support, and to all of the event's sponsors.

"Love is in the Air was a successful beginning to our journey to support our vision for the future and was tremendous fun for a worthy cause. Thank you for joining with us to celebrate life and love...the resilience of our patients, the dedication of our physicians and staff, and the commitment of our leaders to foster excellence in cancer care."
