New Simulation Center Aids in the Training of Clinicians at NYU Winthrop

Members of NYU Winthrop’s Board of Directors, Hospital Administration, physicians and staff recently celebrated one of the most exciting advancements in NYU Winthrop’s integrated medical education, patient safety and quality improvement program this year – the opening of a state-of-the art inter-professional Simulation Center. Equipped with high-fidelity mannequins and task trainers, the Center offers simulation-based skills training for students, residents, physicians, nurses and other clinicians.

As a vital component to medical education, the Simulation Center will move to NYU Winthrop’s Research and Academic Center once construction is complete.
