NYU Winthrop Podiatry is a full-service, state-of-the-art outpatient clinic located in the NYU Winthrop Hyperbaric and Wound Healing Center. The clinic was developed to serve the community's patients while allowing podiatrists to complete their residency under the direct supervision of NYU Winthrop’s highly skilled faculty physicians who are specially trained in podiatric medicine, surgery and wound care.
Our podiatry team specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of foot, ankle and lower extremity conditions including:
- Heel pain/heel spurs
- Tendonitis and infections
- Wounds of the foot
The clinic works closely with NYU Winthrop’s multidisciplinary team of specialists, including orthopedic surgeons and wound care physicians, to provide comprehensive care for patients who require advanced treatment, performing a variety of procedures, including:
- Bunion and Hammertoe surgery
- Diabetic foot care
- Ingrown nails
- Sports injuries
- Fractures and trauma
- Wound care
- Pediatric and Geriatric foot care
- Flatfoot correction
As a hospital-based program, the clinic is uniquely positioned to care for complex conditions, as it has access to various resources including state-of-the–art radiology, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for Diabetic Foot Ulcers, Surgical Debridement and Regenerative Medicine Therapy for complex wound care.
